Radio Keg (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

These radios were sold to bars. The speaker would face the customers, and on the opposite side, the bartender would control the station and volume. I restored this set 15 years ago. The keg was disassembled and the steel bands and all hardware were copper plated as the original. The chassis received a complete restoration at this time. This radio has been in a museum since completion. It is a real wooden keg and still looks amazing! Made by RK Radio Laboratories in Chicago. 9" diameter x 12-1/2"D.
