Emerson 106 (1935)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson 106 (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a great example of Art Deco from the mid 1930's. This is a two-band AC/DC radio that works well on both bands. The chassis has been recapped and all the tubes checked and replaced as necessary. The cabinet is made by the Ingraham Co. and is a work of art with its inlaid strips. Emerson made two versions of this radio; one had an oval dial and this one with a horizontal dial. This is the only one of this kind I have seen in 20 years of collecting. The finish on this radio is super nice. This radio would be the center piece of anyone's collection.
