| Tempo-Tone was the store radio brand for Barker Bros. Furniture in Los Angeles. The Bakelite cabinet of this little table radio looks excellent, with its original shine and color. The knobs and back are original. The chassis has had a full electrical restoration, with all new capacitors, weak tubes replaced, and a full alignment. The original cloth power cord is in good enough condition for safe use, but the original power plug (which had deteriorated) has been replaced with a new vintage-style plug. This radio has a reliable "All American Five" (five-tube) circuit, and works as well as it did when it was new. 10"W x 6-1/2"W x 5-3/4"D. |
