A ONE-DAY WONDER!

Did you know that in the late 1940s, many rural areas did not yet have electricity in the U.S.? This Sentinel Farm Radio is very typical of battery operated radios designed for farm use. No model number is shown, but the label does have a date stamp of 1946. Since batteries for these are no longer easily available, I've saved you the trouble by building in a custom AC power supply so you can simply plug it in like any other radio. The chassis has been fully restored and works very well, and the cabinet has been nicely refinished, highlighting the beautiful book veneer inlay in the center. The mechanical tuning pushbuttons work perfectly. Everything original (except power supply). 19"W x 10"H x 11"D.
