This Hallicrafters "Civic Patrol" is a VHF FM receiver covering 152-173 MHz. Within this band you will find your local weather radio station, as well as various police, fire, ambulance, and other local government two-way radio services. While some police departments no longer use normal VHF FM signals, many still do, so you can probably hear routine police radio communications. This radio has been fully restored, with new capacitors, a strong set of tubes, a full RF and IF alignment, replacement of the original selenium rectifier with a silicon rectifier, and a polarized power cord for improved safety. Cosmetically outstanding, except for the left side, which has some scuffs as you can see in the photos. 13"W x 7-1/2"H x 8-3/4"D.
