Sentinel 1U338 (1952)
(Bakelite tube table radio w/Aux or BT)

Sentinel 1U338 (1952)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This cute little five-tube Sentinel Bakelite table radio is smaller than it looks. Everything is original, and the cabinet is free of any chips or cracks. The sheen is original; this radio has not been clear coated. The All-American Five chassis works perfectly, with excellent sensitivity and sound quality. It will pull in stations near and far as well as any radio in your collection. The chassis restoration included replacement of all paper and electrolytic capacitors, replacement of a few bad resistors, installation of a new polarized power cord with modification to the power switch circuitry for improved safety, a full RF and IF alignment, and pre-emptive surgery on the permeability-tuned IF transformers to prevent this radio from ever having the "dreaded silver mica disease." You can expect this radio to work well for many years. Due to its compact size and light weight, shipping this radio won't cost much. 8-3/4"W x 5-7/8"H x 5-1/2"D.
