Zenith was the leading U.S. manufacturer of AM-FM radios in the early days of FM. You'll be impressed at how well this radio works on both FM and AM. A meticulous alignment (not easy, but well worth it) really brings out the best in reception, making this radio as sensitive as any modern FM radio. In addition to alignment, all the usual electrical restoration work was performed -- new capacitors, replacement of selenium rectifier with silicon, new resistors where needed, a strong set of tubes, and a new power cord. This radio has a big 8" speaker for great sound quality. The cabinet isn't cosmetically perfect -- most notable is some corrosion on the dial ring. But overall it looks good. My "Better Bluetooth" option is available. 15"W x 9"H x 8"D.
