Emerson 25A (1932)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson 25A (1932)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The Emerson 25A mantel radio was sold in huge numbers for $25 during the dark days of the Great Depression. Now that's about $425 with inflation today, so you know folks were anxious to escape into news, music, comedy and variety shows. I acquired this radio from the famous "Radiophile" collection (do a Google search to read more about this radio). This little gem has been treated to a very nice cabinet and electronic restoration with period correct cloth cord. It plays very well. 11"W x 7-1/2"H x 5-1/2"D.
