Stromberg-Carlson 61-H "Triple Range" (1935)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Stromberg-Carlson 61-H "Triple Range" (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Stromberg-Carlson, long known by radio collectors for quality and technological prowess, produced telephones, radios, televisions and played an integral part as a military supplier of electronics during WWII. This Art Deco influenced set, with its octagon dial and airplane style dial pointer, is quite beautiful. Sounding wonderful thanks to a big 8-inch speaker and seven-tube advanced circuit that rivals many sets with twice the tube count. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster and the correct black accenting in place. Original knobs and nice era specific replacement grille cloth. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and this "Triple Range" S-C set plays very nicely on both the AM broadcast and both shortwave bands. I have also added an MP3 audio input so you can listen to your own supplied music and I'm included a new Bluetooth receiver, too. 20"W x 11-1/2"H x 9-1/4"D.
