Stewart-Warner R1711 AM/SW (1936)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Stewart-Warner R1711 AM/SW (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Brought to you from the world-famous manufacturer of automobile, airplane and industrial instruments, Stewart-Warner. Never before offered on The Attic, this beautiful radio with a remarkable black & white dial (colors indicate the SW band), exactly as I remember my Stewart-Warner dial faces in the 1960's when I had them in my "hot rod." The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish. The set retains its original knobs, wooden back and has correct period specific grille cloth. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM and shortwave band with lots of volume. I have added an MP3 input so you may listen to your own supplied music if you wish. 12-1/2"W x 8"H x 6-1/2"D.
