Westinghouse H-126 "Refrigerator" (1945)
(plastic tube table radio)

Westinghouse H-126 "Refrigerator" (1945)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Often referred to as the "Refrigerator" or "Little Jewel," whatever you call it, it's cute as a button! In the day, if you bought a Westinghouse refrigerator, many of the appliance dealers gave you one of these radios as a promotional gift. Small and efficient, it would fit just about anywhere in the kitchen, as it took up very little countertop space. Most of these look just alike, so I couldn't help polishing the brass and giving the case a beautiful red paint job. Now it stands out like I feel it should and it will add pizazz to any décor! The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on the AM broadcast band with its internal loop antenna and has lots of volume for such a small set. 9"H x 5-3/4"W x 5-1/4"D.
