THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The first thing I see is Art Deco, and then I see a radio. Wow! Some collectors say this was Wilcox-Gay's take on the "Mae West" radio, which was made famous by Emerson and it's very easy to see why. This beauty features a gorgeous solid walnut cabinet, black accent stripes, bright colorful backlit round dial coupled with a round grille and elegant black trim. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster. Era correct replacement grille cloth. All capacitors have been replaced with modern types, out of tolerance resistors replaced, tubes checked and replaced where needed, antenna lead installed, a new fused polarized power cord installed, and it plays very nicely on both the AM and shortwave bands. I've added an MP3 input for your enjoyment. I accept mailed checks as payment. An MP3 input for your listening enjoyment. 14-1/8"W x 8"H x 6-1/4"D.
