(wood tube table radio w/SW)
Zenith 7-S-432 (1939)
NEW!Introduced in Fall 1939 for Zenith's 1940 line-up, this beautiful black dial, push button curvy set is lovely beyond words. Original back with internal innovative loop antenna for both AM & shortwave and option for an external antenna. Behind that solid wavy grille is the original grille cloth. Treble and Bass adjustment are on either side of the dial. The cabinet has been refinished using grain fillers, the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, thus producing a gorgeous luster honoring the original finish in specific detail and the small "faux" finish has been protected with lacquer, also. All the capacitors have been replaced with modern types, out of tolerance resistors replaced, tubes checked and replaced where needed and a new fused polarized power cord installed. Plays nicely on all bands. An audio input has been added so you may listen to your own media. Rarely seen and highly collectible among collectors. 17-1/4"W x 10-1/4"H x 9"D.  $345.00. (1390407)
