Motorola radios sold!

Motorola A2G
(plastic tube table radio)

Motorola A2G

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This little light green radio is really nice. As with all the radios I offer, it has been through a full electronic restoration. All electrolytic and wax/paper capacitors were replaced, all resistors checked and replaced if out of tolerance, all tubes tested and any weak or marginal ones replaced. This radio has what Motorola called the "Golden Voice" speaker. This speaker is larger (probably nearly 5" in diameter) than the speaker found in most radios of this size, and this is reflected in the sound quality. This radio has been aligned and has very good sensitivity. This is a good simple radio that should give years of trouble free service, and would make a good "starter" radio for someone wanting to get into the collecting hobby or listening to AM Broadcast Band night time "DX" listening. There is a small blemish in the cabinet shown in the last photo with my finger pointing to it. The blemish appeared to be a burn, and was dark in the center. It was cleaned until the dark color was gone from the mark, but a small divot remains in the plastic. This will not affect operation in any way and it is not obvious unless you are looking straight down on the cabinet.
