This Stromberg Carlson radio is a beautiful brown Bakelite design. The cabinet really cleaned up well. A brand new dial cover has been installed. This radio is a six-tube (Loktal) design and works very well. All electrolytic and wax/paper capacitors have been replaced. All tubes test strong (two of the tubes are brand new). Resistors checked and replaced as needed. All rubber chassis grommets have been replaced. A new power cord has been installed. The radio has had a full and proper alignment performed. The sensitivity is very good, and there is an external antenna connection provided for optional connection of an outdoor antenna for even better performance. Like any radio I offer, this is definitely not just a pretty shelf decoration. It is ready for daily use. About 14"W x 8"H x 8"D.
