Emerson AT-172 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1937)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson AT-172 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I'm tempted to say "Let the pictures do the talking," but I'd better say a little something about this truly rare "humpback" Emerson in an obviously Ingraham cabinet. BC and SW both working. The radio has been professionally restored both electronically and cabinet wise. Even the correct decals were applied and really give it a complete look. It maintains the correct Emerson speaker as well. The chassis is rust free and is also in wonderful condition. The radio is designed with "Teledial" tuning along with a more standard knob control. Contained within is a six-tube super-het chassis that offers both Broadcast and Shortwave. The tele-dial has ten pre-sets, but those if used will have to be set for stations in your area. I will include paperwork instructions how to set... rather simple. Plays and displays unusually well and a really super specimen. About 19"W x 11"H x 10"D. Weighs approx. 16 lbs.
