Fada 1000 Catalin "Bullet" (1945)
(Catalin tube table radio)

Fada 1000 Catalin "Bullet" (1945)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is another very nice Catalin from my collection that screams of that industrial design of times long gone, but maintains its eye catching ability to be the focal point of most any decor. Hard to ignore something of this beauty even if it is the lone radio adorning a simple bookshelf or mantel. This beautiful maroon/wine colored with butterscotch trim is free from any cracks, scratches, or repairs has been electronically restored recently and plays clearly across the dial. No reproduction parts: all original. The only flaw as I see it, is obvious (cardboard back is only half, but the loop antenna is complete). Radio Daze dose sell a repro back if that is a concern. Super shiny, thus near impossible to take pics without the reflections (sorry). Complete and very nice factory label on bottom. One screw missing on bottom as is on most of these sets either because of the common shrinking or to alleviate the possibility of too much tightness which potentially could cause fractures. 10-1/4"w x 6"H x 5-1/2"D.
