Pacific 20C5 (1937)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Pacific 20C5 (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a really scarce and compact radio with Deco flair. Made by Pacific Radio, which manufactured in both Los Angeles and Chicago, seldom do you see them under the factory name. The company was a Los Angeles maker in the 1930s. They maintained offices in Chicago to sell to Sears, Montgomery Wards, Western Auto, and the leading catalogue sellers, Allied Radio and Lafayette. There were very few made with the Pacific nameplate. They were suppliers to most of the Chicago based catalogue companies and exported the bulk of their west coast production overseas. It maintains the original factory wood back. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM and SW bands. Gorgeous detailed colorful back lit dial that jumps out at you both in daylight and a darkened room. The factory gold tag shows the logo and the radio retains the factory installed back. 12-1/2"W x 8-1/4"H x 6-1/2"D.
