THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is another one of those beautiful Atwater Kents with the multi-colored dial (called rainbow dial in their ads). There are separate lights for each band and the lighted arrows (notice in 2nd pic) are the moving pointers, rather unique. Atwater Kent was a high quality and leading manufacturer in the 20's & 30's until unions and the depression forced closure of the Philadelphia monster factory. This is a multi-band, six-tube super-het that receives on both BC & SW with antenna (supplied). It is a very nice refinished tombstone with original grill cloth, knobs, dial, speaker, etc. as you can see. It is a recent restore with all caps, weak tubes, resistors being replaced. It also has a new silk cloth power cord + original Bakelite plug and very clean, rust free chassis. 18"H x 14"W x 8-1/2"D; 28 lbs.
