Airline 62-317 (1938)
(wood tube table radio)

Airline 62-317 (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Very attractive Airline radio which was marketed by Montgomery-Ward catalog & Dept stores, likely made by Belmont. The radio has seven tubes incl. the bright green tuning eye and three bands. Although not restored by me, it does play loud and clear picking up all my local stations and beyond. Someone has done a nice refinish job, but there is a small veneer "tight" repair right where it waterfalls near step-up top + small well hidden divot in dark area. Nice clean repair, but should be pointed out. It has a multi colored Airplane dial and a small dial in the larger dial for tighter tuning. When lit it really pops at night. Nice chrome chassis in great shape. 17-1/2"W x 10"H x 8"D.
