Here is another great looking Mid-Century Firestone AM/FM radio is called the "Narrator," made by Detrola for Firestone. One of just a few built by Detrola with FM and made just before Detrola closed their operation. The Retro style Bakelite case definitely has the Automobile influence & is in excellent shape too, with no cracks, repairs, or chips. All original incl. knobs, dial, speaker, factory back, etc. Beautiful lighted large sliderule dial. Very clean chassis has been rebuilt and works great on both AM and FM. It is a commanding radio. Has six tubes and the reception is very good. Do not see for sale often. This will be a great addition to your collection. Weighs 12 lbs. 14"W x 9-1/2"H x 9"D.
