THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a five-tube set from RCA that has a very unique Bakelite case. It is painted Mandarin red and has hand painted lacquered Oriental scenes on the top and sides as well as under the dial cover. The main scene on top is a man flying a kite over a bridge. It has brass trim and dial needle cover. The dial lights up and the pointer shows red when on to point to the stations. The paint is original and shows some marks here and there and a smear on the top that looks like it was touched up. This radio came in white, black and red versions with each scene being hand painted on each radio. No two are exactly alike. It has been gone through electronically and plays out fine with a built-in antenna. There is a provision to attach a long wire antenna for even more reception. More a piece of art than a radio! 10"W x 7-1/2"H x 8"D.
