THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a little five-tube AM only radio from Admiral. It was probably sold through the Spiegel mail order catalog. It features a turquoise and ivory colored plastic case that is in the minimalist mid-century modern style popular in the 50's. It has the original knobs and cord. The case has no cracks, chips, or hairlines. It has a built-in Ferrite antenna. I checked out the chassis and noticed that a couple of tubes and an IF transformer had been replaced in the past and everything else was on spec. I cleaned and lubed the controls and re-aligned it as well. It plays out on local stations with a nice tube sound. This would make a great addition to your retro 50's kitchen or home decor. 11"W x 5-1/2"H x 5-1/2"D.
