THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Rare model Zenith wood cabinet portable radio. Five tubes, AC/DC (original type batteries are not currently being produced so this is strictly an AC set you can plug into any standard 120 VAC wall socket). Chassis has been serviced with new capacitors (paper and filter), resistors checked and replaced as needed. Tubes were tested and found to be strong. New polarized line cord. Radio plays strong across the AM (only) dial with its detachable "Wave Magnet" horse shoe antenna that can be left attached to the inside back cover in the cabinet or removed and placed on a window or other surface with its attached suction cups. Cabinet has been refinished using toners. Lightening bold "Z" knobs are original as is the carrying handle. Two holes in front of cabinet were for an optional (and now impossible to find) accessory Zenith headphone set, making this the first "walkman!" 11-3/4"W x 11"H x 8-1/2"D.
