| This slant front cabinet Philco is a seven-tube unit with dual 41 output tubes and two powerful built in antenna units that pull in all the local stations. It receives AM/Shortwave and the now defunct Police band, along with seven push button preset buttons for AM only (the far right hand button is for dial tuning and must be pushed in for the set to receive). Strong tested tubes, all paper/wax/filter capacitors were changed. Out of tolerance resistors were changed. New polarized line cord. New chassis rubber mounts, new Philco pattern grille cloth and exact reproduction wine colored push-buttons. The cabinet finish is all original with some minor wear as to be expected after 82 years. The decals were replaced with exact reproductions. Original back cover is still is great shape. It's a big unit at 18-1/2"W x 10-1/2"H x 12-1/2"D. |
