Stewart-Warner Chassis SR-600 (1948)
(wood tube table radio)

Stewart-Warner Chassis SR-600 (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I offer a quantity discount on my radios priced at $119. Take any two radios for $220 (shipping is not included). A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. You can plug into your device and enjoy the music of your choice through the radio. This is a rather unusual radio in that it uses the Porto-Products Smokerette chassis, manufactured by Stewart-Warner. It even says "Stewart-Warner Chassis" on the dial scale and Porto-Products stamped on the chassis. It is a five-tube strong player with its built-in loop antenna. The chassis has a strong tested set of tubes, it has been recapped, aligned, controls cleaned & lubricated for smooth operation. Originally it was coated with white latex paint, which was painstakingly removed to reveal a rather nice grain pattern. It was refinished with spray toners and coated with a light coat of spray enamel for durability. 11-1/4"W x 8-1/2"H x 8-1/2"D.
