This is a very rare hand-painted "Golden Throat" done in factory Oriental Motif! As the advertising read: "The Timeless Enchantment of Hand Painted Chinese Art Weaves A Magic Spell of Exotic Beauty Into Your Home." "The mystic charm ... the timeless enchantment of the Orient ... make them yours with this most unique of all table radios. On appropriate backgrounds of black, red, and white, the Far East beauty of symmetrical pagodas and graceful willows is captured in genuine hand paintings." The bezel around the dial and speaker is brass, and the dial pointer is illuminated by fiber optics! Cabinet is still very vibrant with no real discernible paint loss. It has been recapped, aligned, tubes tested strong, controls cleaned & lubricated, so it plays loud and clear across the dial with its built-in loop antenna. A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. You can plug into the headphone port of your device and enjoy the music of your choice through the radio. 10"W x 8"H x 7-1/2"D.
