Silvertone 1954X (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Silvertone 1954X (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. You can plug into the headphone port of your device and enjoy the music of your choice through the radio. Use as a standard AM radio or plug the cord into your device. I offer a quantity discount on my radios, so check out my other listings and drop me a line if you're interested in more than one at a time. This six-tube Sears Roebuck "catalog radio" features AM & SW and is a rare variation of the popular model 1954, the "X" featuring a horizontal row of knobs instead of two vertically placed on each side of the dial. It has a set of strong tested tubes (several are NOS), all capacitors have been replaced, new line cord. Controls cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. It requires an external antenna to receive beyond strong local stations. The cabinet finish is all original! It was only given a treatment of Howard's and topped with a light coat of clear enamel to preserve and protect. Brand new exact reproduction grille cloth. It features a bright, bold airplane dial with great Silvertone graphics! 16-1/2"H x 12-1/2"W x 9-3/4"D.
