FADA 260-V (1936)
(Plaskon tube table radio)

FADA 260-V (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is an amazing find! A nearly 90-year-old set with a solid ivory Plaskon cabinet AND matching back cover embossed with the word FADA in bold letters! Very Art Deco in design, the cabinet is still in exceptional condition with just a few minor age and heat related blemishes. Using five full size ST style tubes plus a ballast, this set plays strong with its long wire antenna. Very sensitive reception for a set with no AVC. Comes with a set of tubes that tested strong, all new paper and filter capacitors, out of tolerance resistors replaced, and a new line cord. Because of the primitive TRF circuitry, my standard add-on 3.5mm cord could not be installed on this unit. Compact size at 11"W x 7-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D.
