Silvertone 4463 (1937)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Silvertone 4463 (1937)

1937 was the halcyon year for Sears' Silvertone line of radios. That year they produced some of the most unique and stylish radios of the entire decade. This five-tube set is one of them, with its trademark bold golden airplane dial and Art Deco inspired cabinetry. All electrolytic and paper caps have been replaced, out of tolerance resistor replaced, tubes tested strong, controls were cleaned and lubricated. New line cord. The cabinet was refinished using various toners and looks very nice. Brand new exact original Silvertone pattern grille cloth. The original Tenite dial bezel, and knobs are also in very nice condition (usually these bezels are badly warped and/or cracked from age). The radio receives all of my local stations with a long wire antenna attached or use the aux 3.5mm cord to play your own content through the radio. 17"W x 11"H x 9-1/2"D.  $279.00. (1790289)

I offer a quantity discount on my radios, so check out my other listings and drop me a line if you're interested in more than one at a time. A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed at no additional charge when the circuit design allows for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. You can plug in to the headphone port of your device and enjoy the music of your choice through the radio or unplug for standard AM broadcasts.
