Channel Master 6512 AM/SW (1959)
(plastic transistor portable radio w/SW)

Channel Master 6512 AM/SW (1959)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is another nice vintage dual band radio from Channel Master model 6512. This is a great receiver on both bands. I did restore this radio with all brand new electrolytic capacitors, new heavy duty battery holder, and heavy duty battery clip. I cleaned this radio inside and out. Tuned all circuits. This receiver receives lots of AM broadcast radio stations on the AM band. The SW band covers 3.9 MHZ to 12.0 MHZ. I was able to receive many stations. CHU Canada, WWV, Hams, and many foreign broadcast stations on just the internal Ferrite antenna. The radio has option for external and telescoping antennas. There are no chip, cracks, or dents. It comes with a leather case that could use some stitching. The back does not fit perfect. This radio requires four "AA" batteries (not included). Note: it is possible to use a 9V battery on this radio, but not advisable. I see this radio advertised that a 9 volt battery be used, not true. Shipping: Flat rate $13 Domestic only. Radio will be packaged properly, as usual.
