Vintage highly collectable museum quality radio of the iconic Emerson 888 series eight-transistor radios. Restored and recapped with all brand new electrolytic capacitors, and new battery holder. Replaced the battery holder due to the nature of the original factory holder disintegrating. This radio requires four "AA" batteries (not included). Radio plays lots of AM broadcast stations across the entire band. The audio is clear and not scratchy. Take a good look at all the nice features of this radio; the lettering is all there, and clear, and the knobs have no issues. Tough to find these iconic collectable radios like this today.
